The George Galloway led convoy attempting to bring aid from Britain to Gaza has made it to Libya, where they reportedly received a warm welcome, according to the group’s e-mail updates. Up to 100 additional vehicles, including ambulances and another fire engine, could join the mile-long procession that left Westminster on Feb. 14. There were 12 ambulances and one fire engine included in the original convoy.
British journalist Yvonne Ridley is accompanying Galloway and the others as they attempt to bring aid to the ravaged area. She intends to produce a documentary about the journey along with film maker Hassan al Banna Ghani.

I’m looking for relevance. Jimmy Jehosophat seems to believe that one evil justifies another. Sad how distracted supporters of the Zionist cause can be by their own fears.
Israel is a place, not a religion.
And if you need proof of the international attention paid to Darfur, just go through the calendar of events for any liberal arts college in the country for the past 4 years.
Even Dubya called it a genocide.
Of course it is important that the president of Darfur is Islamic, because that means terrorist, right?
On a historical note, may I introduce you to a true antisemite– estimates of people killed under his regime can range anywhere form 3-60 million (dwarfing the Holocaust of the Nazi Regime). It is believed that he was most likely of Jewish origin himself– Just as certain theories indicate about Adolph Hitler. I present to you– Josef Stalin.
Neato that “Islamic” has become the new “communism” buzz word. People can go right on being afraid and never have to stop to think. Both of their more fundamentally flawed out shoots are direct responses to the pressure of a balance of powers that favors profit over human development.
The Israeli Defense Force is populated with Americans and armed by American corporations.
Isreal is not a religion. It is a land, and land is not owned, it is held in common by the people.
When the slaughter in Darfur makes it okay for the slaughter in Palestine to occur we know we have truly lost God.
Counting bodies like they are pocket change.
Sad.
