My name is Keith Shannon and I am a student of journalism and political science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I have an ardent passion for the dissemination of information that may not always get its full due in the mainstream media’s 24-hour news cycle – hence the title of this blog, “Undercurrent.” My main goal is to raise public awareness to issues that may have slipped through our collective consciousness.
